    This post makes my heart soar with pride in our beautiful neighbor to the north! Thank God for her and her history and her future. And I thank God for the friendship of one who returned home to her shores and penned this tribute. I hope your Canada Day was a blessed one, Poppy dear. I love all your paintings today but that Toronto Skyline is stupendous!

We have only been able to visit twice, but your people are so friendly and the land absolutely gorgeous. Our dream is to one day travel much more of it.     Beautiful tribute and pictures Poppy! We live in Michigan, and Canada is just a hop and a skip for us. Our best family vacations were spent every summer in Canada's beautiful provincial parks.
