Technically,
the Canadian calendar
shows that today,
Monday, October 12th,
is Thanksgiving Day.
But many Canadians,
myself, included,
celebrated with family
and friends yesterday.
Ultimately,
giving thanks and being grateful
for all the goodness in our lives,
is an everyday occurrence, isn't it?
Still,
getting together with loved ones,
and sharing in God's abundance of
bountiful blessings, makes for a special
occasion, indeed, whatever the day.
For me, I'm especially thankful to be
spending my first Thanksgiving in over
16 years, in my hometown of Toronto.
To you, thanks for visiting, and
Happy Thanksgiving to all
my Canadian friends!
xo
Poppy
P.S.
The pics are all of Liberty's neighbourhood,
and my walking wonderland.

Happy Thanksgiving to you Poppy! Thanksgiving is celebrated every day in our hearts and I am thankful for so much, including you dear Poppy. You bring such love, warmth and charm to us when you share and each of us are made very special, by your beautiful, kind heart. Your autumnal image shares are stunning and I imagine that every day you shall notice even more brilliance in their show of colours. We need more rain to bring much colour here, for many a leaf is dropping to the ground in dry brown. Last evening provided some of that much needed rain and so we shall see. Hugs to you~

Poppy, you can't imagine how beautiful these pictures are to me! So little color here yet; the leaves just seem to turn brown and fall. The beautiful hardwood trees in your pictures are breathtaking and how fitting that they are so beautiful as you celebrated your Canadian Thanksgiving with family.
