Good morning
to all my lovely readers,
and a big welcome to
my new followers!
Today, I've set the little bistro table
with these beautiful pomegranates,
picked straight from our tree!
They are so refreshingly juicy and sweet!
Won't you enjoy them with me?
You can find me at Kim's, today,
where I've revealed...
'my favourite room'.
So, swing by Savvy Southern Style,
we'd love the company!
xo
Poppy

ReplyDeleteVisiting from Kim's blog. You have a very happy home. I couldn't stop smiling.
ReplyDeleteYour pomegranates are much prettier than the ones we have at the stores here! I loved your home tour!! Congrats! And that is the first time I have seen your fabulous pool!! Great work, friend!
ReplyDeleteI love pomegranates. So delicious! My husband and I always treat ourselves to a few at Christmas time.
ReplyDeleteOh how I remember those delicious pomegranates from my grandfathers tree. he knew exactly when we would pick them because of the red stains in our fingers and in our dresses.. good times!! yours looks so delicious!!!
ReplyDeleteInstead of going to Kim's, I want to sit right there on the deck with you.
ReplyDeletePoppy, You should have called this "A Room With A View". Beautiful. I love pomegranates in salads. Well, I like them in anything.
ReplyDeleteHI, just popped over from Kim's website. Such beautiful colors and wonderful rooms. I have added you to my list.

ReplyDeleteThe best kind of room is an outdoor room, just lovely.
ReplyDeleteI just saw your post over at Kim's! That is so exciting! Your home is lovely! :)

My Mother loved pomegrantes and she would buy one whenever they came in season.Sad thing was that they were an expensive fruit here and she did not buy many when I was growing up. She would have loved to have a tree to picked them whenever she wanted them.
ReplyDeleteI loved your guest post at Kim's Poppy! And seeing your rooms, but I just could not pick a favorite! I love them all--and you didn't even show the fabulous bathrooms! There are so many cozy spots around your house that there would be a spot for every mood, for every weather, and of course, sitting on your terrace on a lovely autumn day in Crete to look at that blue sky and the pomegranate trees! I priced some at the grocery store yesterday and they were 2 for $5. (I remember years ago buying a bowl full and letting them dry until I could shellac them. This was back in the 80s. I wonder if people still do that?)
ReplyDeleteBeautiful post here and at Kim's, Poppy! And you were visiting the South! If I'd know you were coming, I'd have baked a cake!

P.S. If I'd "known"....well, I am just a hillbilly from Nashville, I guess!

ReplyDeleteI went over to see Kim's post about your home first. Poppy your home is so lovely. I love the white in the kitchen and the white roosters trimmed in red. The views are fantastic. Your pool is wonderful as well. I could sit here and write a book about all of the things I love about your home. The pomegranate display is lovely set outside with all of the vibrant colors.
